Melissa's Valentine's Day Cake Balls

My daughter Melissa created these cake balls for Valentine's Day.  I thought they turned out so cool.  Her first paying customer was very pleased to give these as a gift to his wife.

Last night we finally got together with my stepson, Jeremy, and stepdaughter, Sunshine to celebrate Christmas.  Nothing like celebrating Christmas in January.  This little guy is my grandson, Landon.  I just loved his hat and took this in a rush as they were heading out the door.

Creep Crows Take 2

This photo gives you a little more idea of just how many are in one spot at a time.  Isn't this just creepy?  I feel like I am being invaded by birds.

This past week, I have noticed that around 5 pm hundreds of crows fly into my backyard and into the field behind our house.  The noise is unbelievable.  Anyone else seen this?  It seems the black crows have been awful this year.  This photo gives you some idea of what I am talking about.

Cake Balls

I couldn't resist taking this photo of my son sleeping on the couch at 8:15.  Seriously, I am lucky to get this one to bed at 10 pm.  I guess his first day back to school after Christmas break took its toll.
